Extended Information - pursuant to Article 13 of the 2016/679 EU Regulation
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent from the site to the data subject's terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the site on the next visit by the same user. A cookie cannot be used. retrieve any other data from the user’s hard disk nor transmitting computer viruses or acquiring email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user’s web browser. Some of the functions of cookies can be delegated to other technologies. In this document, the term ‘cookie’ we want to refer both to cookies, properly so-called, and to all similar technologies.
Type of cookies
Cookies can be first or third party, where "first party" means cookies that report the site as the domain, while "third party" means cookies that are relating to external domains.
Third-party cookies are necessarily installed by an external subject, always defined as a "third party", not managed by the site. These subjects may possibly also install first-party cookies, saving their own cookies on the site's domain.
Another type of cookie is the so-called "Flash Cookie" (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver certain contents, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.
Nature of cookies
Regarding the nature of cookies, there are different types:
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service" (cf. art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:
. navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); they are in fact necessary for the correct functioning of the site;
. analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve site performance;
. functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. It is not necessary to install these cookies. The prior consent of users is required (more information in the Cookie Management paragraph below).
Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the user while surfing the net.
For the use of profiling cookies, it is necessary to: the consent of the interested party is required. According to the provision (more information in the Cookie management paragraph below) the user can; authorize or deny consent to the installation of cookies through the options provided in the "Manage cookies" section.
In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control of individual cookies and cannot manage them. control them (it can neither directly install nor delete them). You can still manage these cookies through your browser settings (follow the instructions below), or the sites indicated in the "Manage cookies" section.

Duration of Cookies
Cookies have a duration dictated by the expiration date (or by a specific action such as closing the browser) set at the time of installation.
Cookies can be:
. temporary or session (session cookies): they are used to store temporary information, allow you to connect the actions performed during a specific session and are removed from the computer when the browser is closed;
. permanent (persistent cookies): they are used to store information, such as the login name and password, in order to avoid the user having to enter them again each time he visits a specific site. These remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser.
The User has the right at any time to exercise the rights recognized by the art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and, in particular, among others, to obtain a copy of the data processed, their updating, their origin, the purpose and method of processing, their correction or integration, their cancellation , transformation into anonymous form or blocking for processing in violation of the law and to oppose the processing for legitimate reasons.
If consent has already been given but you want to change the cookie permissions, you need to delete them through the browser, as indicated below, because; otherwise those already installed will not be removed. In particular, bear in mind that it is not possible in any way to control third-party cookies, therefore if consent has already been given previously, it is necessary to proceed with the cancellation of cookies through the browser (dedicated section) or by asking for the opt-in. out directly to third parties or through the site
